Where?
Great Yarmouth Brass is based in the eastern seaside resort of Great Yarmouth formed over thirty years ago as the East Anglian School Brass Band and have grown to be one of the major amateur music making organisations in the area attracting ever increasing audiences to concerts and events.

Who plays in the Band?
Members of the band mainly live in the Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft areas coming from many different walks of life, with ages ranging from 12 to 89 years old.

What do we do?
In addition to performing live music and promoting the Brass Band movement, Great Yarmouth Brass are extremely proud of raising thousands of pounds for local good causes and charities through our concert performances.

Do we Contest?
2003 saw their first great achievement since the band's formation, with a win at the London and Southern Counties Brass Band Championships and in 2007 a Runners up position and qualification to the British National Brass Band Championships.

Brass in the Park 2002

Great Yarmouth Brass rehearse every Tuesday evening at the Cobholm Community Centre, St.Lukes Terrace, Cobholm, Great Yarmouth from 7.30 p.m. The Youth Band meets Fridays in the Jubilee Room at Cobholm Community Centre at 7 p.m.
